The XXIV Guitar Festival «Ciutat d’Elx» with the aim of making the guitar, as an instrument and as a culture, have a well-deserved and enriching diffusion, launches specialized courses taught by prestigious professors at the Cardenal Herrera CEU University of Elx .
Master Classes:
Álvaro Pierri: from July 25 to 28.
Pedro Mateo González: from July 25 to 26.
Margarita Escarpa: from July 25 to 27.
Eduardo Baranzano: July 27 to 28.
Luís Alejandro García: from July 25 to 26.
Prices:
Students enrolled in any of the modalities will have free access to all classes and concerts of this Festival.
CLASSICAL GUITAR
Active students:
– 3 classes: 240€. The student may choose three different teachers or a maximum of two classes per teacher.
– 2 classes: 200€. The student may choose two classes with one teacher or two different teachers.
– 1 class: 135€.
Listening students: 105€.
Listening students + competition: 135€.
Individual classes will have a duration of 45 minutes.
CHAMBER MUSIC WITH GUITAR and ENSEMBLES (except piano):
Active students:
– 3 classes: 300€. The group may choose three different teachers or a maximum of two classes per teacher.
– 1 class: 160€.
Chamber Music classes will have a duration of 60 minutes.
Students enrolled in this modality will have the right to participate in the guitar solo competition without additional cost.
Admission rules:
All places are limited, so admission of applications will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The registration fee will not be refunded once the registration period is over. Previously, with prior justification of the cause, 50% will be refunded. The total amount will only be refunded if the place is filled again.
The Festival organizers reserve the right to increase the number of places offered.
AGMA members will have a 20% discount. They will be able to attend all the courses free of charge as listeners without being registered as active students.
Classes will be held in the mornings and afternoons.
Diploma of participation:
The Festival will issue a diploma accrediting attendance, stating the hours attended.

The festival management reserves the right to modify the program for organizational reasons.
Final provisions
All phases will be public and may be recorded on video and audio. The International Guitar Festival «Ciutat d’Elx» reserves, during and after its celebration, the right to broadcast by Radio, Television, Video or any other means of reproduction, each and every one of the tests, including the Final, without any remuneration or royalties for the contestants.
The application for registration implies knowledge and acceptance of these Rules.
